Love

I was thinking recently: Why is it so difficult to see God? If God is real, if God is alive, why is it so hard for us to know Him? I think it’s hard to see God in our world because we don’t know how to love well. I once heard it said that, “God is love”. If this is true, that God is love, then it would also be true that if I loved others deeply and unconditionally then I would probably see God more clearly. The love that I give myself and others somehow springs out of God. This is a profound mystery. The more deeply I learn to love, the more deeply I will know God.
